Budge Studios, in partnership with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio, announced Bluey: Let’s Play has hit 75 million downloads to date.

And now Budge Studios is launching its biggest update ever for the massively popular mobile game.

Going live today, this update arrives as the title officially surpasses an incredible milestone worldwide, further solidifying its place as a flagship success within the Budge portfolio.

Since its launch, Bluey: Let’s Play has captured the hearts of millions of families by bringing the world of the beloved TV series to life. These exciting new features offer kiddos and grownups fresh ways to play and tell stories together.

A new dress up mode

The anticipated Dress Up Mode is a brand-new feature that introduces a new element to the play and storytelling within the game.

  • Your style, any room: Players can now fully customize and decorate their favorite characters with hats, outfits, and accessories from the series using a simple swipe-to-style mechanic.
  • Seamless storytelling: Once a unique look is saved, characters can wear their custom outfits throughout the game.

In addition to Dress Up mode, two more interactive activities packed with the show’s signature humor will also be available:

  •  Play hairdresser with Dad: Give dad a complete makeover! Players can shampoo, curl, braid, or blow-dry his hair, apply hair chalk, and use unique tools like eggbeaters and water balloons.
  •  Become the grill master at the BBQ: Fire up the backyard grill to chop, combine, and cook delicious skewers, burgers, and veggies. Mix ingredients to unlock secret recipes and feed the characters to see their hilarious reactions.

“Hitting 75 million downloads is a spectacular milestone for us, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible collaboration of our partners at BBC Studios and Ludo Studio,” said Michael Elman, co-CEO of Budge Studios, in a statement. “To thank our amazing community, we wanted to deliver our biggest update yet. The new Dress Up mode truly unlocks boundless imagination, allowing kids to bring their own personal touch to Bluey’s world and change the way they tell stories in the game.”

The “biggest update ever” for Bluey: Let’s Play will be available as a free download with in-app subscription options on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore.
