Wild River Games, known for the successful Horse Club Adventures series, has announced its latest video game, Horse Club Ride West. The new title puts Western riding in the spotlight for the first time. The game transports players into a vast, freely explorable world full of Western atmosphere, featuring expansive deserts, canyons, hot springs, abandoned mines, cactus oases, and much more.
With a new art style more closely aligned with the original illustrated source material and a completely overhauled riding system, the adventure delivers a fresh Horse Club experience for console and PC.
In Horse Club Ride West, fans once again accompany the Horse Club protagonists on their journey through a diverse open world, where free exploration plays an even greater role than before. In addition to the linear main story, players can meet side characters, complete side quests, and enjoy a variety of mini-games such as archery and guitar playing around the campfire. Alongside exploration, the game focuses on action-driven missions, tournaments, and the strong bond between riders and their horses.
Horse Club Ride West presents several new features like an Open World, a completely new riding system a new fresh look as well as Western riding that takes center stage for the first time. Thanks to new controls and improved animations, horses feel noticeably more dynamic, while new maneuvers such as sliding allow for fast and tight turns.
The six rideable horses each feature unique characteristics as well as distinct personalities. Their attributes, including speed, stamina, agility, jumping ability, and friendship, can be individually upgraded. In addition, more than 100 combinable customization options for characters and horses allow players to freely express their creativity.
Horse Club Ride West aims to expand the franchise with a completely new setting, offering both long-time fans and newcomers an “immersive riding experience in a Wild West-inspired world.”

It is particularly noteworthy that the development of Horse Club Ride West is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
The game will be released on Oct. 9, 2026, for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, available both physically and digitally. It will also be available digitally for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
