At Gamescom 2025, Saga said it signaled where the industry is headed by hosting an invite-only showcase that stood apart from the noise.

The pop-up featured eight live AI character agents across animation, mobile, MMO, and RPG, proving how AI can extend IP beyond the screen and create persistent two-way engagement with fans and players.

Highlights included Karl from SPIRIT Animation, Titanus from Hero Hunters, Shalune from Metaphora, Commander from Everlin, and Velia from Nebulae. For studios and marketers, Saga demonstrated how its hyperscalable infrastructure can transform existing IP into AI agents that meet players on Discord, social platforms, and live events unlocking new avenues for acquisition, retention, and monetization.

Coming out of Gamescom, Saga has positioned itself not just as a participant in the AI conversation, but as one of the rare outliers actively defining how the future of gaming IP will be built, scaled, and experienced, said Rebecca Liao, CEO of Saga, in a message to GamesBeat.
