Psychonauts maker Double Fine reveals Keeper for October 2025

Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions announced Keeper, a new adventure game coming October 17, 2025.

The trailer starts in a dilapidated world with a crumbling lighthouse, with an exotic bird on top of it. The tower collapses, it grows four legs, and it starts walking around. The tower explores the environment, with the bird atop it, pointing its searchlight.

Then the world turns into something more colorful and crazy. It is coming for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox PC, Steam and Xbox Cloud. It’s something zany, like everything that comes out of Schafer’s mind when you pop the lid on his brain.

“Games like Psychonauts 2 showed how Double Fine excels at unique and innovative experiences, and Keeper is no exception,” said Phil Spencer, CEO of games at Microsoft.
