Vela Games raises $3.1 million for player-first co-op games

Vela Games, a new game studio in Ireland the former Riot Games and Electronic Arts workers founded, has raised $3.1 million to make what it terms “player-first” multiplayer co-op games.

London Venture Partners (LVP) led the round for the Dublin-based studio, with additional funding from existing investor IIU.
