Camex Games announced today that Tactical Monsters: Rumble Arena is now available on Steam in Early Access.

This is the studio’s followup to Heroes Tactics, a turn-based strategy game for PC, iOS, and Android that has millions of players, according to Camex. It has about 76,000 Steam players, according to SteamSpy. At its height in November 2015, it was the No. 18 game in the U.S. Apple App Store, according to App Annie.

The free-to-play Tactical Monsters: Rumble Arena is also available on Android, and Camex is planning an iOS release. It is ranked as the No. 39 strategy game in the U.S. Android Marketplace, according to App Annie.

Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena focuses on faster action, with Camex saying “it’s all about getting in the most battles in the least amount of time.”

Early Access gives the studio a way to attract players and earn money from them without committing to a full release. Early Access games can still be plenty profitable, as we’ve seen with hits like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
