The can’t-miss indie developer workshop comes to L.A. & live stream

Presented by Intel

The roaming Intel Buzz workshop, the one-of-a-kind gaming event for indie developers, is coming to Los Angeles, California, at the new Technicolor Experience Center on November 9th. (It’s also being live streamed; see below.)

Tickets are just $10 for the entire day, which is packed with talks, panels and networking with leading industry experts. You’ll see Raph Koster, widely known as the lead designer of Ultima Online and the creative director behind Star Wars Galaxies, plus executives from Oculus, Intel, Technicolor, Otoy, Survios, Confetti and more. Tickets also include the evening Indie Game Showcase reception.

Networking is essential for indie game success, and the Intel Buzz workshop offers a full day to find support and swap ideas and strategies on everything from code and marketing to player outreach and figuring out where you’re going next. Sponsored by Intel and hosted by the local indie dev community, the conference lets you get on the floor and swap business cards with speakers from the industry giants and local peers from the indie game scene.

Starting at 9.30 a.m., expert speakers from studios around the local community will present 30-minute talks covering a wide range of topics relevant to every indie development studio.

And don’t miss the Indie Game Developer Showcase reception where you’ll have the opportunity to play, discuss, and rank the ten best local indie games. Prizes include Best Overall Game, Best Artwork, Most Innovative Game, and Audience Pick. Winners go home with high-tech prize packages put together by Intel and its partners.

If you’re not local or can’t make it, tune into the live stream of the L.A. Buzz Workshop right here at 10:30 a.m. PT on November 9th. (And keep an eye out for a Buzz Workshop near you.)

The indie developer community is uniquely collaborative, and every roadblock overcome, challenge solved and success achieved is shared by the entire collective. Check out the entire schedule and register on the Intel Buzz Workshop website.
