Lionsgate’s gaming division has a hell of a good day with Power Rangers launch

Lionsgate is a movie and TV studio known for films like Twilight and The Hunger Games. But now it’s also getting a reputation in games. And today, the company had a “helluva good day,” according to game chief Peter Levin.

Today, the company and its partners released Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, a mobile game based on the Power Rangers franchise that gets a film reboot on Friday. On top of that, the company has three out of the five featured slots on Google Play, including Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, Family Guy’s stunt quest with the Power Rangers, and Next Games’ The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land.
