Activision rolls out new Guitar Hero Live content starting today

Activision is beefing up the song catalog on its Guitar Hero TV (GHTV) service, which lets players jam along to a selection of curated music videos.

Today, the publisher adds the first of many free content drops to its rhythm game Guitar Hero Live, available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and iOS. New music videos and live footage from Black Veil Brides, Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, and George Ezra are among the first wave of additional content for GHTV, which Activision bills as “the world’s first playable music video network.” Players can expect a total of 70 new tracks on GHTV — including songs from Judas Priest, Iggy Pop, Biffy Clyro, Weezer, Alice in Chains, and System of a Down — by the end of the year.
