Asus announces Republic of Gamers G752 gaming laptop

SAN FRANCISCO — Another gadget joins the gamer laptop fray.

During Asus’s Republic of Gamers show today in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco, the game hardware company announced it next gaming laptop titled the ROG G752. The product was developed in a conjoined effort with Microsoft, and it’s focused on Windows 10 gaming.

The laptop cools itself using what Asus calls “a 3D vapor chamber,” which is capable of carrying 180 watts, and is supposedly boosting GPU performance by as much as 43 percent and CPU performance by 49 percent.

It runs a sixth-generation Intel Skylake Core i7, with 64GB DDR RAM and a Nvidia GTX 980 graphics card.

The keyboard features backlit keys that are designed to allow more travel time, with anti-ghosting tech for improving input speed and quality.
