Ex-Wizards of the Coast VP is now advising on an online trading card game

If you’re going to work on an online collectible card game, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring on someone from the company that created the genre.

GalaCollider, a hybrid of 4X strategy design and competitive collectible card game concepts for PC and iOS, is gaining help on its competitive structure from ex-Wizards of the Coast VP George Skaff Elias. Given that the market is reported to be worth $1.2 billion, most of that coming from players spending $90 a year, bringing someone like Elias onboard is a sane investment in time and talent.
