The Heroes of the Storm have a new arena to wage war in.
Blizzard released the newest Battleground, Infernal Shrines, today for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). Battlegrounds are the levels that players fight in. While many MOBAs, like League of Legends and Dota 2, concentrate on a single map, Heroes of the Storm has multiple arenas, each with different sub-objectives besides destroying the other team’s base.
In Infernal Shrine, one of three shrines on the map will become available for claiming. Once activated, it’ll summon skeletons. The first team to kill 30 of them will summon a powerful minion, the Punisher, that will march toward the enemy team’s base. You can see the new Battleground in action in the video below.
