Desura owner Bad Juju Games files for bankruptcy

Sadly, this company’s name is appropriate today.

Bad Juju Games, a Southern California company that focuses on developmental tools for mobile, portable, and console game development, has filed for bankruptcy, according to Gamasutra. Bad Juju is also the parent company for digital game stores Indie Royale and Desura (which also sells indie games).

This comes after some game developers complained that they were not being paid for sales of their titles on Desura, which Bad Juju acquired from Linden Lab in November 2014.
