5th Cell reveals its Fig crowdfunding campaign game — Anchors in the Drift

Some day, we might reminisce about how we used to crowdfund games on Kickstarter.

5th Cell, the developer behind Scribblenauts, has revealed its new game, Anchors in the Drift, which is seeking funding on Kickstarter. It’s asking for $500,000. This is the second game launching a campaign on Fig, a new crowdfunding site that seeks to give developers an alternative to Kickstarter. Fig differentiates itself by allowing investors to take a partial equity stake in the product. The first Fig campaign, Outer Wilds, raised $126,480 of a $125,000 goal.
