2K announces XCOM 2 for November — and only for PC (at this time)

Those aliens aren’t going to tactically destroy themselves.

Publisher 2K announced XCOM 2 today, a sequel to the 2012 turn-based strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Firaxis will develop XCOM 2, as they did with its predecessor. The sequel comes out this November only for PC.

That last bit is strange. Enemy Unknown had releases on consoles PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. These days, it seems like PC-only franchises like The Witcher and Diablo are going out of their way to hit consoles. XCOM is even on mobile.
